Great pizza. They are NOT practicing social Distancing. People at BAR at elbow distance. Customer had DOG in lap at Bar. Passing to bartender over bar to hold. Staff not wearing masks. Tables too close. Place is a Covid19 infection Disaster AREA!Stay AWAY! Board of Health Notified!

If you haven't had the club sandwich the pizza, the rueben.. okay... There's a lot on this menu to love. Also the super variety of beers! I found exactly what I wanted and the bartender knew as soon as I told him what my favorite were. He pulled out exactly what I wanted to drink. So excellent food and service . . Only wish it was closer to my home!

Great spot for a bit to eat. The tenderloin we split was so huge and delicious, definitely lives up to being one of the best tenderloins in Indiana.

A classic local with the classic hometown favs! The love decor, staff and food! Had a few items over the years visiting and never disappointed! Will continue visiting when passing through

My wife was doing a little shopping trip in Franklin and we decided to try The Willard for a late lunch. It was not crowded so we didn't have the issue that some people have had with seating and service. I consider myself a bit of a tenderloin connoisseur so that's what I ordered. You can see from the picture that it is not a huge tenderloin like you get at some restaurants but size is not what makes a tenderloin great and this was a great tenderloin! This may be the best restaurant tenderloin I have ever had. It reminded me of the kind my mom made when I was a kid. My wife had the Bangin'Bleu Cheese pizza and really liked it too. Our server was friendly and attentive. I wish I lived closer so I could try their Beef Manhattan Wednesday lunch special! Definitely a place I will go to again when I'm in the area.

We always make it to the Willard for a family gathering around Thanksgiving. Great pizza, wings and good cold beer!!

I have been to The Willard 3 times since I moved to Franklin in 2009. On all 3 occasions we were treated like we shouldn’t be there & made to fell unwelcome. On our first visit my husband ask for any recommendations, the server responded “Look at the menu & get what you like”. On our 2nd visit we sat at a table for nearly 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. On our 3rd visit we were ignored again for too long & then when we finally received service our server was rude & never made eye contact. We won’t be back, the food isn’t good enough to be treated like we’re an inconvenience.

If you like to wait 30 minutes to have your order taken, only to wait unsuccessfully for another 30 minutes for your appetizer or a refill or to even see your server, this is the place for you. Actually to be completely honest, we saw our server probably 10 times. He just refused to acknowledge our existence, let alone our arms waving trying to flag him down. We finally gave up on getting any of our food, and left over an hour after we sat down. Nobody seemed to notice or care.

Food was just so so , this was my 3rd time there (in 2 yrs) and every time I ordered something completely different all with the same results. Servers not wearing masks I did not see anything being sanitized in between customers. Such a unique place was hoping for so much more.

Food was good...people were friendly. Very interesting place. But make sure not to go if you're in a hurry. Otherwise, it's great!

I love this place but do NOT recommend a salad unless you want a bowl of lettuce.... as for the other options... Everything is delicious, their prices are great, staff is helpful and we love the atmosphere! TThe tenderlion was absolutely wonderful!!! We could get whatever we wanted on it. It was thicker than normal breaded tenderlions and very tasty!! It was enjoyed by all at the table since it was so huge. The fish sandwich was a bit small but because of the delicious fries but my son really didn't care. He is a high school swimmer and was full by the end of our meal. I highly recommend coming here for their pizzas, meals or a drink (we enjoyed our drinks including the long island and bloody mary!)

Like an old-world pub in the middle of indiana. Has a lovely, local feel. Also, my waiter, Aidan, was welcoming and gave my friend and I great service. Will definitely be coming back.

For some wings were not very flavorful tonight. Ask for extra crispy and they were still not crunchy....could have been an off night. Hubby ask for a couple beers and those were not available...but were on list ....service was fine.

Server seemed overwhelmed, was very friendly, but all alone. By time our food came out, it was tasty, but had been sitting in the window a while, so it was not hot or crispy as it would have been if freshly delivered. Nice place, homey atmosphere.

I know this is a local historic favorite but the food here is just never been good when I've been. Just tastes like cheap frozen bar food. The atmosphere is cool and the history is interesting but the menu is just lackluster.

My lunch really upset my stomach. Hamburgers were the lunch special. Fries were lukewarm and waitress in my opinion could have used help. She was running all over the place. Would ask for an item that should have came out with the food. 10 min later would get it. This was my second visit. Will be my last.My stomach cant take it!

Food is your typical bar type food, I had the Nacho Pizza, it was good, my concerns lies with the current Covid conditions, only one server had a mask on out of 4 that I saw and people were seated way to close together. I was seated less than 2 ft from the next table. I may order take out, but won't be sitting inside until they adjust the seating.

Rude! I can handle 1 rude waitress but 2 inside of 5 minutes ??? No thanks. Didn't stay as felt unwelcome. Good luck Willard.

Food was OK. Questions seemed like like an inconvenience to the waitress. Waitress didn't come around much and so twice I had to go inside to the bar. Went in to get my bill and a box while the waitress played cards with the regulars. Could have done without an employee smoking right next to the outdoor seating.

A local restaurant with great sized comfort food. Located in the heart of town they are easy to find. They have a large menu with generous serving sizes. Their variety often means there is something for everyone. They also do the out of you're looking for their great food on the go. Their staff is friendly and quick to respond to questions and drink refills.

Great atmosphere . Reasonable prices. And large beer selection for everyone. Food is amazing

The Willard was a hotel many many years ago in downtown Franklin... It's now a very popular restaurant with great food... A lot of old charm... Their prices are more than fair and the food is delicious... Great pizza also.... I tend to eat there at least three or four times a month... They're known for their wings, and their hand breaded tenderloins,, but everything on their menu is very good...

Service was less than adequate. We didn't have a server for about 20 to 30 minutes. Come to find out it was the bartender/manager who was our designated server.

Best nachos around. Cool place. Good food and service. Highly recommend

We went in with high hopes because we had heard good things about the eateryThe waiter acted like we were a bother. We ordered a pizza and it was one of the worst pizzas I have ever ate. It tasted like it had been in the freezer way too long and they baked it for us. The waiter didnt care we were unhappy with our food. We paid our bill and left. We wont be back

Service is usually always top notch, and the pizza is always amazing. Love the atmosphere and surrounding area as well. Wpupd highly recommend for a good night out

My friend and I went just after the restuarant reopened, so they seemed understaffed with long wait times. That said, the service was friendly and the food was reasonably portioned, varied, and affordable. They would be better suited with fries as a side rather than potato chips, but overall the experience was quite enjoyable.

Excellent grilled and breaded tenderloins. The tenderloins have some body left in them 1/4 - 1/2 inch. The breading was lightly (not over) seasoned.the fresh fruit provided a refreshing compliment.We really appreciated that they were willing to wrap our carry out in aluminum foil which is recyclable instead of styrofoam which isn't.We've tried over 20 different tenderloins around the state and rate this among the best. There as good as the get and we'll go back when in the area.

Very tight seating...hard to maneuver. Food wasnt great, but service was good and prices were reasonable. Overall, not a place I would be quick to return to.

Cozy, charming old house converted to bar/restaurant. Typical bar food. Ordered Buffalo Shrimp extra-hot. Was not expecting popcorn shrimp and the sauce was mostly tobasco. Lots of them, so it may have been best that they weren’t scorching. Atmosphere was great and the staff was hard-working. My food was typical for what you’d find in a bar.

I ordered the fish platter and it was absolutely delicious, my husband got the breaded tenderloin which also was well worth the price! We will definitely return. My only complaint is that the frying oil may have been a little old. However, it was very appetizing!

It is so sad. I loved going there but today I ordered a pizza and after 40 minutes the waitress came out and said it would be another 30 or 40 minutes before my pizza would be ready i canceled the order and left. I very bad day for you

My wife and I had dinner there last night and although the food was good enough we were very uncomfortable. During this covid19 pandemic they didn’t seem to follow any of the recommended safety procedures. The help didn’t wear masks, no social distancing , didn’t wipe table with disinfectant spray and dirty menus. Honestly we felt like they didn’t really care about their customers. Needless to say we won’t be back!!
